TALA STUDIOS is an art /
design / publishing studio composed of my wife Cynthia Bauzon
and myself. I handle the publishing side, mainly the production of graphic
novels and manage projects that deal mostly with illustrations. Cynthia,
an award-winning graphic designer and advertising art director, handles
the graphic design requirements. The studio was officially launched along
with the release of TRIP
TO TAGAYTAY in December 16, 2000.
TALA, ta-la, noun, is the Filipino word for "star". Tala is also the name of the sprite-like character from my comic book mini-series THE MYTHOLOGY CLASS.
